APPROXIMATE RING HOMOMORPHISMS OVER p-ADIC FIELDS

Abstract

In this paper, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of ring homomorphisms over the p-adic field Qp associated with the Cauchy functional equation f (x+y) = f (x)+f (y) and the Cauchy-Jensen functional equation 2f ( x+y 2 + z) = f (x) + f (y) + 2f (z).
