SOME APPLICATION OF THE UNION OF TWO k-CONFIGURATIONS IN P2

Abstract

It has been proved that the union of two linear starconfigurations in P2 of type s and t for either 3 ≤ t ≤ 10 or −1 ≤ s with 3 ≤ t has maximal Hilbert function. We extend the condition (cid:163) 1 to ≤ s ≤ s, so that it is true for either 3 ≤ t ≤ 10 or 2 with 3 ≤ t, which extends the result of [6].
